Old Fashioned Soda Fountain

Come take in nostalgia of the past. At the Arapahoe Pharmacy, order up a signature phosphate, ice cream soda, ice cream sundae, or a standard Coca-Cola. Our soda fountain has been in continuous operation since pharmacist Floyd Morris opened. Our homemade vanilla syrup, still made in kettles in the back of the store, will finally show you what a real vanilla coke or vanilla phosphate tastes like. You can't go wrong with a class combination of a strawberry-vanilla phosphate, a Green River, classic root beer, or a cherry sour. Go back in time to when drinking a phosphate was that special treat. Or, up the ante with an ice cream delight of your choosing. Don't forget to add on a nostalgic retro candy to complete the experience. Big Hunk candy bars, wax buttons, and Cherry Mash candy bars are just behind your red soda fountain stool!
